Adam Federici has signed a two-year deal at Stoke City after three seasons at Bournemouth.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper did not feature for the Cherries last season and usually sat behind Asmir Begovic and Artur Boruc in the pecking order.
Former Stoke keeper Lee Grant moved to Manchester United on Tuesday to serve as a backup option for David de Gea and Sergio Romero, forcing the Potters to search for a new stopper ahead of next season.
Federici will replace the 35-year-old at the bet365 Stadium and will be looking to compete with Jack Butland for a starting spot in the Championship.
The Australian player had a loan deal at Nottingham Forest cut short last season after requiring surgery on an injury picked up on international duty.
