Stoke City have announced the signing of former Liverpool right-back Glen Johnson on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old has penned an initial two-year deal at the Britannia Stadium after being released by the Reds following the 2014-15 campaign.
Johnson, who joined the Merseyside club for £18m from Portsmouth in 2009, will prove a "fantastic addition" to the Potters, according to manager Mark Hughes.
"Glen will be a fantastic addition to our squad. He commanded a huge transfer fee when he left Portsmouth for Liverpool but dealt with the pressure that comes with that," he told the club's official website.
"He's a talented defender who also chips in with goals - as we discovered last season when he scored the winner against us at Anfield – and having spoken to him I know how much he's looking forward to being a Stoke player."
Johnson is City's sixth summer signing, following Philipp Wollscheid, Jakob Haugaard, Joselu, Marco van Ginkel - a season-long loan signing from Chelsea - and Shay Given to the Potteries.
