Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross has admitted that he is looking forward to playing against Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse this weekend.
The Senegal international has lit up the Premier League since his January move from Freiburg with 10 goals in nine games.
However, Shawcross is excited by the prospect of stopping the 26-year-old.
"Papiss has adapted to English football remarkably quickly," he told reporters.
"It can sometimes take a while for players to come to this country and settle in, but he has already shown his qualities on the pitch.
"I enjoy playing against these sort of players though - it's a test for me and for the other defenders. In this league, you come up against top-class players week in, week out and Saturday will be no different."
Cisse's strike partner Demba Ba netted a hat-trick against the Potters when Newcastle won 3-1 at the Britannia Stadium back in October.
