St Mirren manager Danny Lennon has admitted that he is "very emotional" following his side's victory over Hearts in the final of the Scottish League Cup.
The Saints earned a 3-2 win at Hampden Park on Sunday to lift the trophy for the first time in the club's history.
"I hope it is the first of many, but I may not get to another cup final," Lennon told Sky Sports News. "I always said I would enjoy every goal if I got to a final and I wanted to enjoy it with the fans.
"I am very proud, very emotional and absolutely thrilled that we are bringing the trophy back to Paisley for the first time in this club's wonderful 135-year history."
St Mirren are currently in 11th place in the Scottish Premier League table.
