Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Barcelona youngster Lucas De Vega as a potential summer signing.
Despite suggestions of a restricted transfer budget, Jose Mourinho has already made three first-team additions ahead of the new season.
However, according to Sport, the Portuguese is also considering players for the future, resulting in an approach being made for De Vega.
While the 20-year-old is yet to make his debut for Barcelona, the Brazilian featured on 20 occasions for second-tier side Cartagena during the last campaign.
The report suggests that Spurs remain well below the valuation of De Vega, whose asking price has allegedly been set at £7m.
Sporting Gijon, Malaga and Tenerife are also said to be monitoring the situation.
