Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made their first move in attempting to agree a new contract with goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
The Frenchman has spent the last eight seasons in North London, making a total of 325 appearances in all competitions.
With less than two years remaining on his existing deal, the 33-year-old has the option of pursuing another move before the end of his career.
However, according to Football Insider, Spurs have opened preliminary discussions with the 33-year-old regarding fresh terms.
The report suggests that Jose Mourinho has no intention of changing his number one, despite the recent addition of former England stopper Joe Hart.
Paulo Gazzaniga is also competing for a first-team spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
