Tottenham Hotspur have launched a fresh bid for Mainz attacker Yunus Malli, according to The Mirror.
The North London side were in hot pursuit of the 24-year-old earlier this year and reportedly had three bids knocked back as they attempted to sign him from the Bundesliga side.
The Turkey international is said to have a release clause set at £7.5m but it is due to expire on July 31, paving the way for Spurs to make a new approach.
Responding to the speculation, Malli is quoted by the newspaper as saying: "I can't, won't rule anything out. What's the point of saying 'I play for Mainz this season' and things look different in two weeks?"
Spurs have thus far made only two signings this summer, bringing in Victor Wanyama and Dutch forward Vincent Janssen.
