Tottenham Hotspur want to sign West Bromwich Albion defender Nathan Ferguson, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in a swoop for West Bromwich Albion defender Nathan Ferguson.

The 19-year-old is enjoying a breakthrough season for the Baggies and has featured in all but one of their 12 Championship matches since the start of the 2019-20 campaign.

Last week, it was reported that West Brom were in talks with Ferguson over a new five-year deal amid suggestions of interest from the Premier League.

However, according to The Sun, the Championship outfit might find it difficult to convince the youngster to sign fresh terms at the Hawthorns as Tottenham are in the hunt for his signature.

The report claims that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino views the Baggies teenager as the solution to his right-back issue with Serge Aurier and Kyle Walker-Peters struggling to convince following Kieran Trippier's departure ahead of the current season.

Ferguson, who is allegedly valued by Tottenham in the region of £10m, has largely featured at left-back for Slaven Bilic's side but is naturally a right-sided defender.
