Tottenham Hotspur allegedly emerge as favourites to sign Real Madrid midfielder Isco during one of the next two transfer windows.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Real Madrid midfielder Isco as a potential signing.

While the Spain international remains in the first-team picture at the Bernabeu, the 27-year-old would be allowed to depart Los Blancos for the right price.

According to El Desmarque, Spurs hold an interest in the playmaker, potentially as a replacement for Christian Eriksen.

The Dane is expected to depart the Premier League outfit, either in January or at the end of the campaign when his contract expires at the North Londoners.

Should Spurs opt to make a formal approach for Isco, chairman Daniel Levy may hope that a part-exchange deal can be put together in order to minimise any financial loss made on Eriksen.

Isco has made just one start and two substitute outings in La Liga this season.
