Report: Tottenham Hotspur eye loan move for Danny Welbeck

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to make a move to sign Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck on loan until the end of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a loan move for Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck, according to a report.

The 23-year-old has been told that he can leave Old Trafford before the end of the transfer window by manager Louis van Gaal.

A number of Premier League clubs hold an interest in the England international, but Welbeck would prefer a move to Spurs, who are ready to make a bid to sign the striker for the season, claims Sky Sports News.

Welbeck scored nine goals in the Premier League last season for the Red Devils.
