Inter Milan owner Erick Thohir has confirmed an interest in signing Erik Lamela from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Spurs' £30m record signing has struggled to make an impact in his first season at White Hart Lane, and Thohir says that Nerazzurri boss Walter Mazzarri is a keen admirer.
The Indonesian businessman also revealed that Wolfsburg midfielder Luiz Gustavo is a target for Mazzarri and either of the two could be Inter players in a matter of weeks.
"Mazzarri likes Lamela and Luiz Gustavo, but everything will depend on the situation of the market," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"In about two weeks we hope to be able announce a new player. Mazzarri believes in our plan and we must sit around a table to talk about his renewal."
Lamela, 22, is contracted to the Lilywhites until 2018.
