Everton have become the latest Premier League side linked with a move for Tottenham Hotspur frontman Jermain Defoe.
Speculation has surrounded the 29-year-old's future at White Hart Lane, with previous reports suggesting that the forward may seek a move for first-team football.
Despite Spurs boss Harry Redknapp claiming that he wants to keep hold of Defoe, Toffees manager David Moyes has hinted that the Merseyside club have been monitoring the striker.
"We'd always be interested in players of that quality but I would never talk about players at other clubs who are under contract," the Daily Mail quotes Moyes as saying.
Queens Park Rangers have also been linked with a January approach for Defoe.
