Tottenham Hotspur have revealed that Erik Lamela has penned a new four-year contract.
Spurs announced earlier on Friday that Son Heung-min had committed his long-term future to the club, and Lamela has now followed suit by signing a deal which will last until 2022.
The 26-year-old joined the North London outfit back in 2013, and the Argentine has scored 23 goals in 154 appearances in all competitions since his arrival.
Lamela missed a year of action with a hip injury, but the playmaker made a return to first-team action in November and featured on 33 occasions during the most recent campaign.
Mauricio Pochettino is expected to use Lamela frequently during pre-season, with the likes of Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane enjoying extended breaks due to their participation at the World Cup.
