Emmanuel Adebayor has revealed that he is in the process of completing a permanent move to Tottenham Hotspur from Manchester City.
The Togolese frontman spent a prolific season at White Hart Lane on a temporary basis and manager Harry Redknapp has been open about his desire to keep hold of the forward.
Adebayor tweeted: "Loved my spell at Tottenham. We are working hard with the chairman [Daniel Levy] to make it permanent. Will keep you informed!!"
Previous reports had suggested that the 28-year-old would be sent back to the Etihad Stadium due to Spurs' unwillingness to match City's wages.
