Scott Parker is Tottenham Hotspur's captain for today's match away at Blackburn Rovers.

Scott Parker will captain Tottenham Hotspur during today's trip to face Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.

The midfielder has taken over the duty from the injured Ledley King, who is replaced in the starting lineup by centre-back Sebastien Bassong.

Jason Roberts has been handed a start up front for hosts Blackburn, while Mauro Formica also comes into the team.

Blackburn: Robinson; Lowe, Samba, Givet, Olsson; Vukcevic, Nzonzi, Pedersen, Hoilett; Roberts, Formica.

Spurs: Friedel; Walker, Kaboul, Bassong, Assou-Ekotto; Lennon, Parker, Modric, Bale; Van der Vaart; Adebayor.
