Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle expects that Tuesday night's return to the scene of Fabrice Muamba's collapse will be emotional for him and his players.

Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle is expecting Tuesday night's rearranged FA Cup tie with Tottenham Hotspur to be emotional.

It will be the first time that the Trotters squad have returned to White Hart Lane since Fabrice Muamba's collapse in the original abandoned fixture on March 17.

The 23-year-old has since shown remarkable signs of recovery, although he remains in intensive care.

Doctors at the London Chest Hospital have reportedly installed a television set in the intensive care unit so that Muamba can watch the replayed match, an event which Coyle expects to be emotionally charged.

The Scot told The Mirror: "We had to get up and running again because it was the wish of Fabrice's family. And performances like that will help us to pick up enough points to stay in the Premier League.

"I'll go home, have a wee Irn Bru, and then sit down to think about how we are going to deal with going back to White Hart Lane. But will it be emotional? Absolutely.

"Fabrice's recovery is paramount. It will be the family's decision whether we go and visit him while we are in London."

The Bolton squad will visit Muamba in hospital before the game.
