England midfielder Scott Parker is in a race to be fit for Euro 2012.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Scott Parker could be an injury doubt for England at Euro 2012.

The 31-year-old is expected to miss his club's final game of the season against Fulham on Sunday with an Achilles injury.

"Scotty's not fit. I had to put him on the bench at Villa last week," said Spurs boss Harry Redknapp. "He has an Achilles problem which is not getting any worse but is not getting any better, either.

"After Sunday he will be having some injections and we're hoping that will clear it up. He's been carrying it for a few weeks.

"The specialist thinks he can clear it up but it is going to take another 10 days rest after the end of the season."

England manager Roy Hodgson will name his 23-man squad for the tournament on Wednesday.

His side's first game is against France in Donetsk on Monday, June 11.
