Fernando Torres: 'Victory is all that's important'

Spain striker Fernando Torres declares that La Roja will abandon their attractive style of play in order to see off Chile and get their Group B prospects back on course.

Fernando Torres has declared that Spain will abandon their attractive style of play in order to progress from Group B.

The current World Cup holders, who began their campaign with a 5-1 loss against the Netherlands, take on Chile tomorrow in the knowledge that a defeat could very well signal the end of their hopes of progressing.

"The important thing is that we win, hopefully in our usual style, at the high level that allowed us to win the World Cup and Euro 2012," Torres is quoted as saying by FIFA.com

"If we can't win like that, we have to win anyway, because otherwise we'll have to go back home. All that's important tomorrow is that Spain play and win."

Chile head into the clash on the back of a 3-1 victory against Australia.
