Report: Ronald Koeman to hold talks over new Southampton contract

Ronald Koeman is reportedly due to hold talks over a new contract with Southampton.

Ronald Koeman is reportedly expected to hold talks next week over a new contract at Southampton.

The Premier League club is believed to be keen to extend Koeman's stay at St Mary's, almost two years after he took the reins.

According to The Mirror, club bosses will speak to Koeman next week to discuss a new deal and their five-year plan.

The report adds that Koeman is happy to remain with the Saints but wants assurances that the club still meets his ambitions.

Southampton are currently 13th in the league table after six wins, six draws and eight defeats.
