Liverpool have announced the signing of Queens Park Rangers defender Steven Caulker on loan until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old has been at Southampton on a temporary deal, but made just eight appearances in Ronald Koeman's team.
Caulker will now finish the season at Anfield after Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp turned his attention to the player due to the current injury woes suffered to his defenders.
A statement from Liverpool via their official website read: "Caulker, who has Premier League experience as well as being capped by England, showed a willingness to commit to the Reds at short notice.
"[Caulker's] arrival eases the injury situation the club are currently facing in defence, which includes both short and long-term absentees."
