Championship side Sheffield Wednesday are close to agreeing a deal for Romanian striker Sergiu Bus, according to reports.
The 22-year-old, currently with CSKA Sofia, was the subject of a bid from the Owls this week and it appears that the Bulgarian side have accepted the offer.
"I'm hopeful we can get him in because we need someone who can put the ball in the back of the net," Owls manager Stuart Gray told reporters after his side's 2-0 defeat at the hands of Reading on Saturday.
Bus has scored 10 goals in 19 appearances for CSKA Sofia, and represented his country at under-21 level on five occasions.
