Klaas-Jan Huntelaar: "We conceded too easily"

Schalke 04 striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar admits that the side conceded too easily in their 4-3 second-leg win over Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has admitted that Schalke 04 conceded "too easily" in their Champions League match against Real Madrid this evening.

The German side clinched a 4-3 win at the Bernabeu, but the defending champions progress to the last eight with a 5-4 victory on aggregate.

The striker, who used to play for the La Liga side, told reporters after the match: "Of course we are happy about our game today, but we could have achieved more. We conceded too easily and we should have taken our lead into the break. They didn't feel comfortable at all."

Huntelaar scored two of the visitors' four goals.
