Christophe Galtier signs a two-year contract extension at Saint-Etienne and will stay at the club until 2016.

Saint-Etienne coach Christophe Galtier has signed a two-year extension to his current contract that will see him remain at the French club until 2016.

The 46-year-old has been in charge of the Ligue 1 outfit since December 2009 following the departure of Alain Perrin.

"The board of AS Saint-Etienne would like to thank Christophe Galtier for the quality of his work and his commitment to the club," reads a statement on the club's official website.

Saint-Etienne are currently fourth in Ligue 1 with 62 points from 37 matches.
