Barcelona are reportedly preparing a £20m offer for Sevilla midfielder Ivan Rakitic.
The 26-year-old, who is currently with the Croatia squad ahead of the World Cup, is widely regarded as one of the best playmakers in European football.
He contributed 12 goals and 10 assists for Sevilla during the 2013-14 La Liga season and also played a key role in their Europa League success.
Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have both been credited with a strong interest, but according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are preparing to make an official move.
It is currently unclear whether Rakitic's future will be decided before the World Cup begins.
