Real Madrid have reportedly won the race for Eintracht Frankfurt forward Luka Jovic, with the European champions agreeing to sign the Serbia international in a £52m deal.
Jovic has spent the last two seasons on loan with Frankfurt from Benfica, scoring 36 times in 74 appearances for the German club in all competitions.
Frankfurt recently completed the signing of the 21-year-old on a permanent deal, but it had always been thought that the Bundesliga side would sell him on for a profit this summer.
Liverpool, Manchester City and Barcelona have all previously been credited with an interest, but according to Sky Germany, Madrid have completed a £52m swoop for the striker, with a fifth of the transfer fee going to Benfica.
Jovic has scored 27 times in 47 appearances for Frankfurt during the 2018-19 campaign, including 10 in the Europa League as Die Adler reached the semi-finals.
The player's farewell performance for the Bundesliga side could come in Saturday afternoon's clash with Bayern Munich.
