Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has reportedly told his father that he wants to join Real Madrid before this summer's World Cup in Russia.
The 26-year-old only joined the Ligue 1 leaders at the start of this season, but speculation quickly emerged suggesting that he was unhappy in Paris and regretted his world-record switch from Barcelona.
Barca's bitter rivals Real Madrid are now considered the frontrunners for Neymar's signature, with the Brazilian thought to be keen on a return to Spain.
Spanish publication Sport now claims that Neymar has told his father - who also acts as his agent - to push through a move to the Bernabeu before the World Cup gets underway on June 14.
Neymar has scored 26 goals in his debut season with PSG, but he is expected to miss the rest of the campaign after undergoing surgery on a foot injury.
The winger should be fit in time for this summer's tournament in Russia, though, where he will look to add to his tally of 53 goals in just 83 appearances for Brazil.
