Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has claimed that he hopes to remain at the Bernabeu for the remainder of his playing career.
The 28-year old, who joined the La Liga giants from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2012, was linked with a return to the Premier League this summer, with Manchester United said to be keen on his services.
"I have no doubt that the best thing that ever happened to me in football is to play in Madrid," he told Croatian newspaper Sportske Novosti.
"Where will I be in four years? Here. Besides being a great club, my family feels amazing in Madrid.
"In football it is difficult to plan, but if you ask me, I would like to retire in Madrid. With titles, of course."
Modric's has four years remaining on his current contract.
