Bayern Munich defender David Alaba will reportedly announce on Tuesday that he intends to leave the club at the end of the season and join Real Madrid.
Alaba, who has spent the past decade as a first-team regular for Bayern, has called a press conference for this afternoon.
Spanish outlet Marca suggests that the 28-year-old will lay out his plans for the next chapter in his career, which could mean confirming a switch to Madrid.
Los Blancos have made signing free agent Alaba their top priority ahead of the summer window, with long-serving skipper Sergio Ramos stalling over agreeing a new contract.
Bayern have already moved to sign a replacement for Alaba after seeing off stern competition from Premier League clubs for RB Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano.
Austria international Alaba has made over 400 appearances for Bayern, including 27 outings in all competitions this season.
