Former Real Madrid midfielder Paul Breitner has claimed that Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar will be a Los Blancos player next season.
Breitner represented Madrid between 1974 and 1977, while the German also turned out for Bayern Munich during a professional career which saw him score over 100 times.
The 66-year-old claimed that Neymar "will be very important" for Los Blancos next season during an interview on German television.
PSG broke the world transfer record to acquire Neymar from Barcelona last summer, and the Brazilian scored 28 times in 30 appearances for the French giants before sustaining a broken metatarsal in February.
"Neymar will be very important next year at Real Madrid," Breitner told Sport 1.
The 26-year-old is on course to represent Brazil at the 2018 World Cup, despite initial suggestions that the attacker could miss this summer's tournament.
