Barcelona head coach Tito Vilanova claims that there are positives to take from the loss to Real Madrid on Wednesday evening.

Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova has claimed that he has taken some positives from the Spanish Super Cup defeat to Real Madrid.

Madrid's 2-1 victory on Wednesday evening secured the first piece of silverware available in Spain this season but Vilanova believes that his side were not dominated at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"I wouldn't say we started badly," Vilanova said. "Madrid weren't running over us; they played two balls in behind that surprised us, although it is true that Higuain already had another chance.

"Madrid took their chances but I want to take the positives."

Sports Mole analysed the triumph for Jose Mourinho's side in the Spanish capital here.
