Cristiano Ronaldo reveals return to fitness

Cristiano Ronaldo says that he is ready to return to action with Real Madrid following a short spell on the sidelines with a hamstring problem.

Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed that he is no longer suffering from an injury.

The Portuguese attacker missed Saturday's 4-0 victory over Real Valladolid at the Santiago Bernabeu because of a hamstring complaint.

However, despite reports that he could be sidelined for a couple more weeks, the 28-year-old has insisted that he is now fit.

"I no longer have an injury. I have been fine for a couple of days," he told an awards ceremony in Madrid.

Ronaldo has scored 25 goals in 18 outings for Los Blancos this term.
