Cristiano Ronaldo refuses to "go public" with his opinion on the potential arrival of Gareth Bale at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has refused to "go public" with his views on the potential arrival of Gareth Bale at the Bernabeu.

The Spanish giants are said to be willing to stump up £105m for the Tottenham Hotspur winger, who is believed to be keen on moving to Spain.

While the likes of Iker Casillas and Sergio Ramos have been open about their desire to see Bale at the club, Ronaldo has opted to keep quiet.

"I have my opinion about Bale, but I will not go public with it," Goal.com quotes Ronaldo as saying.

"These kind of issues are not my responsibility. I do not talk about new signings or player issues."

When speaking about his own future, Ronaldo, who is believed to be a target for his former club Manchester United, stated that his situation is yet to be "resolved".
