Sergio Ramos: "Real Madrid will keep fighting"

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos says that his side will keep fighting for the La Liga title after being held to a 1-1 draw by Real Valladolid.

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has said that his side will keep fighting for the La Liga title after being held to a 1-1 draw against Real Valladolid this evening.

Ramos had given Madrid the lead with a free kick in the first half, but a late goal from Javier Baraja saw the home side earn a valuable point in their battle against relegation.

"It's a pity because we've fought, but we relaxed a bit in the minutes at 1-0," Ramos told reporters.

"Against a team fighting against relegation you can't do that. I can't fault our attitude today though. As long as it's mathematically possible Real Madrid will keep fighting."

Madrid are now four points behind leaders Atletico Madrid in the La Liga table, with two games of the season left.
