Rafael Benitez has lamented more dropped points after Real Madrid's 1-1 draw at local rivals Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
Karim Benzema's early opener was cancelled out by Luciano Vietto on 84 minutes at the Vicente Calderon as Atletico - who missed a first-half penalty through Antoine Griezmann - held their bitter neighbours to a draw last night.
It represented the Blancos' second successive stalemate following the 0-0 with Malaga last week.
"We lacked the second goal to finish the game," he told reporters. "In the first half we were better. We have to give credit to Atletico because they have pressured and fought.
"We lost two points for the way the game has developed. They have risked in the second half. In the first half, my team played to win."
Real sit third in La Liga, one point behind leaders Villarreal.
