Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has hailed Nuri Sahin as a "quality player" after the midfielder returned to his former club on an 18-month loan deal.
Sahin joined Real Madrid from Dortmund in 2011 and his return has left Klopp pleased with the "midfield" options he now has.
"We will still have to get him used to our operations, which will take him several weeks," Goal.com quotes Klopp as saying. "However, Nuri is an absolute quality player, and gives us a lot more options in midfield.
"Through his efforts, we can hope to integrate a great deal more attackers, such as Ilkay Gundogan."
Dortmund are currently third in the Bundesliga, 12 points behind leaders Bayern Munich.
