Eden Hazard has acknowledged that he had been finding it difficult to wait for his first goal for Real Madrid.
In his sixth appearance since signing from Chelsea in the summer, Hazard got on the scoresheet as Real recorded a 4-2 victory over Granada in La Liga.
While admitting that preserving the club's unbeaten league record was the biggest priority, Hazard says that it was 'important' for him to get off the mark for Los Blancos.
The Belgian told Real Madrid TV: "I am pleased with the win. When you play you want to score, but the crucial thing was getting the win.
"We are still top of the league, that was our aim today. It's always difficult to get that first goal, but once you get it you have greater confidence to shoot and I hope to score lots of goals for this great club. It was important for me to score today."
The win for Real has ensured that they will sit top of the table during the international break.
