Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas insists that the players still support coach Jose Mourinho despite falling 13 points behind La Liga leaders Barcelona.

Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas has said that the team are still behind coach Jose Mourinho.

Los Blancos trail La Liga leaders Barcelona by 13 points but the goalkeeper has stated that the players are still doing their best for their Portuguese boss.

"We all support Mourinho without any doubt," said Casillas.

"The situation we have is not favourable. We left two points behind [in the 2-2 draw with Espanyol]. We cannot be so far away from Barcelona."

The draw leaves Madrid in third, four points behind local rivals Atletico Madrid.
