Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has praised Keylor Navas for his 'fantastic' start to the 2015-16 season.
Navas was second choice behind Casillas at the Bernabeu last season, but has taken the gloves for the new campaign after a last-minute potential move to Manchester United broke down at the end of the last transfer window.
Casillas has also paid tribute to Real's second-choice stopper Kiko Casilla, who joined the Spanish giants in the summer.
"Keylor's doing fantastically well and having a very good season. It's not an easy position, but Keylor – thanks to his seniority and performances – is doing well," Marca quotes Casillas as saying.
"I hope he continues doing very well because that'll make the team do well. I'm glad because Real Madrid need a top goalkeeper and hopefully they have one in Keylor. I hope Kiko Casilla does great too if he's picked."
Casillas joined Porto in the summer after representing Real Madrid for 25 years.
