Saturday's La Liga predictions including Real Madrid vs. Real Betis

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's La Liga fixtures, including Real Madrid vs. Real Betis.

Osasuna vs. Villarreal (Saturday, 1.00pm)

Jagoba Arrasate will take charge of his final game as Osasuna boss when his side takes on Villarreal at El Sadar on Saturday.

Having collected 44 points from 37 matches, the hosts are sitting in 11th spot and eight points adrift of their eighth-placed opponents.

We say: Osasuna 1-3 Villarreal

Villarreal have won five of their last eight road trips in the top flight, and we think that they produce another strong away performance to claim maximum points and spoil Arrasate's Osasuna farewell.

Real Sociedad vs. Atletico (Saturday, 3.15pm)

Real Sociedad welcome Atletico Madrid to Estadio Anoeta for a dead-rubber La Liga fixture on the final day of the 2023-24 season on Saturday afternoon.

La Real will be seeking revenge against Los Colchoneros after they suffered a 2-1 defeat in the reverse fixture at Civitas Metropolitano in October last year.

We say: Real Sociedad 1-1 Atletico Madrid

Both teams are merely playing for pride in this fixture, but they will want to end the campaign on a positive note, particularly the hosts in front of their own supporters.

Atletico have got the better of Real Sociedad in recent meetings, but as there is little to separate these two evenly-matched sides at present, we can see Alguacil's men claiming at least a share of the spoils this time around.

Almeria vs. Cadiz (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Both looking to conclude their disappointing campaigns on relative highs, second-tier bound duo Almeria and Cadiz will meet at Power Horse Stadium for a La Liga clash on Saturday evening.

La Rojiblancos secured a share of the spoils at the home of Mallorca last time out, whereas the Yellow Submarine played out a goalless draw with Las Palmas.

We say: Almeria 2-2 Cadiz

With both sides already guaranteed to be relegated at the end of play, the pressure being off could lead to an entertaining watch for supporters.

Almeria will be desperate to record their first win at the Power Horse Stadium this season, but we feel that Rojiblancos will have to settle for a point.

Rayo Vallecano vs. Athletic Bilbao (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Athletic Bilbao will attempt to claim a second straight victory when they travel to Estadio de Vallecas for Saturday's clash with Rayo Vallecano.

Los Leones are guaranteed to finish the campaign in fifth place, while the hosts will enter the final day of the season in 16th position.

We say: Rayo Vallecano 1-1 Athletic Bilbao

Athletic will enter Saturday's contest as the favourites, but they have found victories hard to come by in recent away games, having won just one of their previous four road trips.

As a result, we think that they will have to settle for a point against a Rayo side that has lost just one of their last seven home matches.

Real Madrid vs. Betis (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Concluding a near-faultless 2023-24 La Liga campaign, Real Madrid welcome Europa Conference League-bound Real Betis to Bernabeu on Saturday evening.

Carlo Ancelotti's troops are already sailing off into the title sunset, while their visitors will not move from their seventh-placed position, making this weekend's affair little more than a dead rubber.

We say: Real Madrid 2-0 Real Betis

Recent battles between Real Madrid and Real Betis have often been close-run affairs, and with many of Ancelotti's troops also casting their eye over to the Champions League final and Euro 2024, Los Blancos should not go gung-ho in search of a rather meaningless three points.

Nevertheless, with Real Betis arriving at the Bernabeu much worse for wear due to their hefty list of absentees, a full-strength Blancos side should make light work of them either way, ensuring that their morale stores will be at maximum for their Dortmund date.
