Carlo Ancelotti: 'Karim Benzema could be ready for Juventus'

Real Madrid's Karim Benzema could be fit to face Juventus in their Champions League semi-final second leg on Wednesday, according to Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that Karim Benzema is in contention for Wednesday's Champions League semi-final second leg against Juventus.

The Frenchman has been on the sidelines for almost one month with a knee problem, but he could return for the European clash at the Bernabeu.

"He has a little [knee] problem from a hit and I think he will be ready for Wednesday," Ancelotti has been quoted as saying by UEFA.com.

Benzema is expected to be named in the squad, but is unlikely to go straight back into the starting XI.

Real Madrid, who are the holders of the Champions League, lost the first leg 2-1 in Turin last week.
