Las Palmas go through to the last 16 of the Copa del Rey with a 1-0 aggregate victory over Spanish first division side Rayo Vallecano.

Las Palmas have knocked Spanish first division side Rayo Vallecano out of the Copa del Rey.

The Spanish Segunda Division outfit defeated the Madrid club 1-0 on aggregate in their Round of 32 tie after drawing the second leg 0-0 at Estadio del Rayo Vallecano.

Sergio Lobera's team headed into Tuesday's second-leg clash 1-0 up from the first leg and battled bravely for the whole 90 minutes in the Spanish capital.

Las Palmas will now take on Real Betis in the last 16 of the competition.
