Real Betis through to Copa del Rey last 16

Strikes from Amaya and Ruben Castro and a Jesus Rueda own goal see Real Betis defeat Real Valladolid 3-0 and progress to the Copa del Rey last 16 3-1 on aggregate.

Real Betis have progressed to the last 16 of the Copa del Rey with a 3-0 victory over Real Valladolid at home.

The Andalucian club headed into their Round of 32 second-leg tie on Tuesday 1-0 down from the first leg and earned a 3-1 aggregate victory over the two legs.

Amaya levelled the tie at 1-1 in the 26th minute when he found the target in Seville.

Then just after the hour mark Ruben Castro scored for the home side, before Jesus Rueda put the ball into his own net in the 86th minute to wrap up a comfortable 3-0 victory for Betis.
