Harry Redknapp urges Modibo Maiga to show his worth to Queens Park Rangers

Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp says that Modibo Maiga has to "make me want to pick him".

Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp believes that Modibo Maiga has to prove that he deserves a place in his starting XI.

The striker, who moved to Loftus Road on loan from West Ham United in January, grabbed a goal on his debut against Burnley, but Kevin Doyle and Will Keane are now blocking his path to the first team.

"He's got to make me want to pick him. It's true he's from a Premier League club but so is Will Keane, and Kevin Doyle was there with Wolves two years ago," Redknapp told Get West London.

QPR travel to Birmingham City this afternoon.
