Queens Park Rangers striker Jay Bothroyd believes that his side deserved to beat Aston Villa this afternoon.

Jay Bothroyd believes that Queens Park Rangers deserved to take all three points from their encounter with Aston Villa earlier today.

As it was, the R's had to settle for a point thanks to a stoppage time own goal from Villa defender Richard Dunne.

"We deserved the win 100% but it's still a good point after going 1-0 down," the striker wrote on his Twitter account.

Bothroyd's manager, Neil Warnock, has been highly critical of the performance given by referee Michael Oliver at Loftus Road.
