Athletico PR vs. Fluminense (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Two sides separated by a single point in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A standings will face each other on Sunday as Fluminense head to Arena da Baixada in Curitiba to play Athletico Paranaense.
On Wednesday, Furacao moved into eighth place, despite drawing Chapecoense 1-1, as they got some help from Corinthians, who defeated Flu 1-0, dropping Tricolor down to ninth.
We say: Athletico Paranaense 2-0 Fluminense
Lately, this matchup has produced a lot of goals, with nine between both sides in their past two fixtures, five from Paranaense.
These teams are close to each other in the table at the moment, but Athletico have been a lot sharper in the final third, especially since Terans joined the mix, so expect their attacking threats and the home crowd to help them earn a valuable three points.

Palmeiras vs. Internacional (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Palmeiras will host Internacional at the weekend in the Campeonato Brasileiro, and the home side will look to halt a poor run of league form that has seen them slip down to fifth position.
Internacional head into the weekend in seventh place, and they will look to move above Palmeiras in the table since they enter the weekend just a point adrift of their opponents.
We say: Palmeiras 1-1 Internacional
We expect this contest to be a cagey affair and though Palmeiras have struggled in the league of late, we think they may have enough to collect a point on Sunday, and both sides may be content with sharing the spoils.

Atletico GO vs. Atletico Mineiro (Sunday, 10.15pm)
© Reuters
Atletico Goianiense have a chance to put a small dent in the championship aspirations of Atletico Mineiro when the team from Goiania welcome the league leaders to Atletico Clube Goianiense Stadium on Sunday in match number 26 for both sides in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A.
Mineiro increased their lead over Flamengo to 11 points thanks to a 3-1 victory over Santos earlier this week, while Dragao are winless and goalless in three straight league fixtures.
We say: Atletico Goianiense 1-2 Atletico Mineiro
Mineiro have not lost a competitive match since early August, mainly due to some brilliant individual performances which have earned them points, and even though they are not as sharp in the final third away from home, the quality and depth of this team all over the field is evident and should be enough to give them a sixth successive victory over Goianiense.

Ceara vs. Bragantino (Sunday, 10.15pm)

Ceara will welcome Bragantino to Castelao on Sunday, and the hosts enter the fixture in 14th place in the Campeonato Brasileiro table.
Bragantino have enjoyed a successful season and find themselves in fourth place, and they will look to retain their position in the top four to ensure they qualify for next season's Copa Libertadores.
We say: Ceara 1-2 Bragantino
Ceara will want to make the most of home advantage, but Bragantino will be confident heading into the game, having not lost to Sunday's opponents in their last three meetings, and we think the visitors will continue that trend by collecting a narrow victory on Sunday.

Gremio vs. Juventude (Sunday, 10.15pm)
© Reuters
In a ding-dong battle at the bottom of the Brazilian Serie A table, Juventude will look to extend their gap over the teams in the relegation zone when they travel to face Gremio on Saturday night.
Gremio are one of those sides languishing in the bottom four, making this weekend's clash the perfect opportunity for them to drag themselves closer to salvation.
We say: Gremio 1-0 Juventude
It really is moving into must-win territory for every Gremio game, none more so than this weekend's clash against fellow-strugglers Juventude.
Expect a tight affair with neither side over-committing themselves and a slender home side victory in this relegation six-pointer.

Flamengo vs. Cuiaba (Monday, 12.30am)
© Reuters
Flamengo will look to extend their seven-game unbeaten streak on Monday and continue to place pressure on table-toppers Atletico Mineiro when they host Cuiaba.
However, the visitors ended their five-match run without a win during their most recent outing, and they shall now be searching for consecutive victories.
We say: Flamengo 3-0 Cuiaba
Even though Cuiaba managed to secure a victory in midweek, it is going to be very hard for them to follow that up with another in this particular match.
They take on one of the strongest squads in the division and considering the fact Flamengo will be boosted by the return of international players, they should have enough quality to get three points.

Sport vs. Santos (Monday, 12.30am)
© Reuters
Both Sport Recife and Santos will be attempting to get back to winning ways on Monday when they collide in the Brasileiro after each of them lost their most recent outings.
The fixture is a true six-pointer as they are fighting for survival, with just two points between them in the league table as they each try to avoid relegation.
We say: Sport Recife 2-1 Santos
Despite their recent loss, Sport Recife have been in stronger form as of late and they have been proving themselves in front of goal, which is something that will cause problems for the visitors.
There is a lot on the line with this fixture, which will no doubt bring the best out of both teams, but the hosts should be able to use their recent momentum to potentially take themselves out of the relegation zone.
