Nottingham Forest striker Britt Assombalonga has suggested that the arrival of Thomas Ince will improve confidence at the City Ground.
Reports have suggested that Forest are close to completing the loan signing of Hull City's Ince, and Assombalonga is hopeful that any new recruit can make an immediate impact.
"It might give us a lift. At the end of the day sometimes you have to take a chance on something, to see if it does give you a boost," Forest's top scorer told the Nottingham Post.
"He is a good player, I can't say anything else, because he is a good player.
"Time will tell what happens, but if he comes in it will be a good thing. It is up to the manager what he wants to do. He knows what is best for the club."
Forest have not won any of their previous seven Championship games.
