Norwich City confirm signing of Lewis Grabban from Bournemouth

Norwich City announce the signing of Lewis Grabban from Bournemouth on a three-year deal.

Norwich City have made their first signing of the summer after completing a deal to bring Lewis Grabban to Carrow Road from Bournemouth.

The 26-year-old striker has put pen to paper on a three-year deal after joining from the Cherries for an undisclosed fee, pending paperwork.

Grabban has signed for the newly-demoted Championship side having scored 35 goals in 93 appearances over a two-year stint with Bournemouth.

"It's good to start a new chapter, get going again with Norwich and hopefully get promotion," Grabban told the club's official website.

"I've played here before and the atmosphere's been great, the fans are great. It's exciting to be a part of the club now and hopefully do well for them."

Manager Neil Adams added: "I am delighted that Lewis has put pen to paper to become my first signing. He will provide pace, intelligent movement and a high work ethic to the front line, and of course he showed in the Championship last season that he is capable of scoring a variety of different goals."

Adams was handed the manager's job on a permanent basis after taking over from Chris Hughton towards the closing stages of the Premier League campaign last season.
