Saturday's Ligue 1 predictions including Nice vs. Brest

Sports Mole provides score predictions for both of Saturday's Ligue 1 fixtures - Montpellier vs. Strasbourg and Nice vs. Brest.

Montpellier HSC and Strasbourg meet at Stade de la Mosson in Ligue 1 action on Saturday afternoon in what should be a close encounter.

The sides both find themselves in the lower end of mid-table, but a win could easily take either team well into the top half if results go their way.

We say: Montpellier HSC 2-1 Strasbourg

As mentioned, both sides can blow hot and cold from week to week, which makes the game quite a difficult one to call. Montpellier have the better record in this fixture historically, however - winning four of the last five meetings - so we will back them to edge a closely fought game.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Nice vs. Brest (Saturday, 8.00pm)

High-flying Nice welcome Brest to the Allianz Riviera on Saturday evening in the latest round of Ligue 1 games.

Whilst the hosts are challenging near the top of the table, their opponents are struggling down in the relegation zone, sat 19th with just four points to show for their efforts so far.

We say: Nice 3-1 Brest

Anything but a comfortable victory for Nice here would be a surprise. Brest are on a winless run of 10 games in all competitions, and the only victory in their last 19 matches came against minnows Stade Plabennecois during a friendly back in July.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
