Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew is expecting his side to beat Queens Park Rangers at the Sports Direct Arena on Sunday.
The match is Mark Hughes's first game in charge of QPR following his appointment earlier this week, and Pardew is aware of the Welshman's threat.
"Mark isn't expected to win and that makes it more dangerous. So, I'm on my guard tactically for what he will do. But I do expect us to win," he said.
The Magpies could occupy fifth spot in the Premier League table at the end of Sunday if Arsenal fail to beat Swansea City.
