Martin Jol furious with Fulham defeat

Martin Jol says that Fulham deserved a point from their late 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United in the Premier League.

Fulham manager Martin Jol believes that his side deserved a point from this afternoon's game at Newcastle United.

Hatem Ben Arfa struck four minutes from the end as the Magpies recorded their first win of the Premier League campaign at St James' Park.

"We could have done a lot of damage and got the points on the board," PA quotes Jol as saying. "If you look at the possession, it was almost too easy.

"Last year it was the same, they scored one goal and they are over the moon as if they played great. But they didn't. We should have had at least a point."

The Cottagers entertain West Bromwich Albion next Saturday.
